She insulted my mother...

My mother along with my younger brother arrived the very next day. The next when I was in office my brother informed me that my inlaws have come with two unknown men (later introduced as relatives) but the bad thing is that my mother-in-law has behaved badly with our mother. My mother opened the door and my mother-in-law blazed the question "AAp yahan kaise?". My mother said come in.. it's my son's house and I can visit him anytime. My mother-in-law next fired the question on brother "aapne jhooth kyon bola ki ham nahi aa rahe?". My brother was equally shocked because he never talked with mother-in-law before.

He politely asked "Maaji meri aapse baat hi kab hui?". Then she shouted "Aap itne chhote hain umra me aur mujhe jhooth banate sharam nahi aatt?". My mother intervened and asked my brother go and arrange some snacks and cold drinks for them. When my brother told all this I said cool down she is lying and she spoke to me in the same language a day before yesterday. She seems to be crazy.

In the evening when I came back to home from office I found them discussing something. I went for a bath and as soon as I came back they called me to sit with them. I joined them and then to my greatest surprise my father-in-law fired the question on me "Aap kyon meri ladki ko torture kar rahe hain?". Shocked and furious I could not guess what was wrong. The next fire was from one of the unidentified relatives who was in almost my age and threatened me "Anzam acha nahi hoga, sudhar jao warna main hath pair tod dunga".

Before I could react to the situation my wife came forward (my mother-in-law standing behind her) and started shouting "Mujhe khana nahi milta, kapda nahi milta, nahane dhone ko sabun surf tak nahi milta..." My mother intervened "beta aisa kyon bol rahi ho, khane-pine ki kami bhagwan dushman ko bhi na kare.. ye kaisa ilzam hai?". Then my mother-in-law started shouting and this continued for two hours.

Finally they suggested me I should keep my mouth shut or be ready for the worst with me and my family. I politely asked that I still have no idea why all this is happening and what you really want. I think you were coming here to guide your daughter for that shameful incident but you are now putting allegations on me?

He said he will come again tomorrow and everybody left my house. We all were shocked and shamed as they were shouting and neighbours must have heard all this. We used to carry a respectful and peaceful life in this flat even when we were staying here as bachelors and now this all has happened. Who is going to find out that my inlaws were shouting on us for no reasons.

Next morning my father-in-law came along with other old aged relative who was introduced as uncle of my wife and I was shocked again as my wife came out with her suitcase and they all left my house. One of my neighbours whom I used to call my elder sister was coming to my house knowing the incident and she got them in the way. She stopped my father inlaw and asked them why they have done all this? As she knew what all had happened in past few days and infact my wife used to be with her in her free time (she was taking care of my wife as guardian till date) she explained my father-in-law that my wife is guilty of doing all this. She should have not done all this. My father-in-law for the second came down of his attitude and asked for excused that he got carried away with the incident. He also accepted that he knows that his daughter is short tempered so he is taking her back home for few days until this issue goes cool.

My elder sister objected and said she has to live whole life with and if she is short tempered why did they counsel their daughter that she has live in peace and harmony with us. But instead of this why did they alleged us of torture in front of their daughter. Isn't it going to support her aggressive attitude toward her husband and inlaws and will she respect anyone after this kind of support from you. My father inlaw apologized for everything and literally left from their along with my wife leaving all of us in deep shock and distress.
