Greedy inlaws!

Knowing the fact that the dowry case was not filed against us from her relatives, my parents decided to visit our native home back in Jharkhand. As soon as they arrived my greedy inlaws visited them and apologized for their behaviour and siad that they wanted to send her back to us. My parents had no objection as they looked ashamed themselves. The next day I received a call from my inlaws asking me as where they should send my wife. I had only words that if you elders have settled it out and you think that she will lead a peaceful life and would not insult my parents again I would respect what you elders have decided. Since in our indian family system elders and their opinions are highly respected.

Surprisingly my father in law came with her here in Delhi and when I asked why they came here as they were supposed to send her to my parents. My father-in-law mischievely and falsely said that he had gone there but my parents did not accept her to keep with them. I immediately called up my parents and asked if my father inlaw had gone to them with my wife and they were surprised. My father asked me give the phone to my father inlaw and asked him if he was joking and my father inlaw rudely replied that why should he go and leave his daughter with them. He had married her to me so he had interest with me only and not with them.
